In order to book The Lynex, we need to know what event you're planning to host. Why do you ask? Well, our facility can host many types of events and some require more attention than others do. Such as security or even parking attendants. However, our prices start at $800 for a small gathering.
Our system is like this...If your event is more than 60 days away, you are required to pay a deposit and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event. If your event is 30 days or less away from the time you book, 100% of your balance is due at time of booking.
All funds paid are non refundable, if you choose to cancel your event for what ever reason, you are eligible to postpone your event, or transfer your booking to an approved booking of someone else. Rates are subject to change. If you decide to sell your booking to receive a refund, there will be a separate fee added depending on the size of the buyers event.
Tables and chairs are provided for events with a guest count of 75 or less. Anything over that number will require rental. 5 foot rounds($10) and 6 foot rectangles($5) are available. Chairs are general plastic folding chairs.($1)
Wifi is available for your use at a rate of $60 per event. Typically your DJ needs this service, so be sure to ask them when you book their service.
Linen for the tables and chair covers for the chairs are only provided for weddings in the package. If you'd like to rent them, please inquire during your visit. Black table cloths ARE included with your rental.
The Lynex is a family owned business, so we understand how family may want to do for you. Outside catering is allowed as long as the caterer has a license and is insured. If you choose to cook for yourself, you'll be notified in your contract that The Lynex or its partners are not to be held liable for any illness or injury from food and temps.
Yes! We love to see what can be done in our space. You're more than welcomed to set up your own decorations. Please note that your booking hours start as soon as you step foot in the building, so we recommend using a designer who works quickly and efficiently uses that time. Nothing can be hung from the walls or ceilings without owners approval or nailed down to any floors.
No, liquor packages are available from our licensed partners and bar tenders come with them. No outside liquor is allowed on property that did NOT come from The Lynex, Chef Greg Taylor & Co. or any of our partners. Sight of violation can result in your booking being ended immediately.
The Lynex is located in the former PetLand building north of CherryVale Mall. West of Bell School Rd. East of JC Penny and next to Cherry Valley Animal Clinic
Our facility and our neighbors have plenty of parking available!
The Lynex has a requirement to have security for public events as well as events with a guest count over 150. This cost related WILL be added to your bill. We do not work with outside security officers, we provide our own licensed professionals.
